This week, the Senior Management Team (SMT) attended the inaugural Journey Maker Summit in Melbourne. This was the first time all Australasian Senior Managers met in one location to talk about the future of the brand. Transdev colleagues from Paris and Berlin also attended making it a truly international Summit, with 90 attendees.
The Journey Maker Summit agenda included presentations on our new global strategy ‘Moving You’ and strategic goals. Breakout sessions were held on diversity and inclusion, a Just Culture, operational excellence and innovation. The Business Development team also highlighted the significant number of contract opportunities arising over the next five years for New Zealand and Australia.
The Auckland Metro timetable change is fast approaching, going live this Sunday. With more services and operational changes across the network, now more than ever, we need to be vigilant. Please keep your personal safety, and that of your colleagues and our customers, front of mind. Some of these changes are a Transdev first, as we continue in our quest to be the operator of choice. Thanks to the entire Transdev team for the incredible efforts of everyone involved; frontline, operational and Book-ons and Head Office staff, a special mention to Peter Louden - Performance Manager and the Transdev Planning Team for their efforts leading the changes to the timetable.
Our IT team has also been busy making improvements across the business. Papakura was transferred to 2 Degrees on Monday and this has increased their network speed. After successful testing the remaining depots and locations will be upgraded over the next four weeks. A signal booster was installed at Britomart to enable a better mobile phone network signal. We rolled out a new IT support number (0800 112 826) after we fully transitioned from CCL to Ricoh. We are already reaping the benefits of a more efficient and professional IT service provider. Hopefully you have spotted the yellow IT Help screen wobblers with the new hotline number – please call if you need any help accessing your email too.
