The final All Star of 2016 was Trainee Train Manager Paul Jones, who won December’s award for managing a potentially disruptive situation on board his train.
A regular customer became severely agitated at Avondale, which in turn made other customers feel uncomfortable.
Rather than removing him from the train, Paul sat with the customer between stations to keep everyone calm and the situation under control.
Paul’s patience and customer service rightly drew compliments from customers when the train stopped at Newmarket.
Way to go, Paul!
